Angel Publishing

As the Graphic Designer for Angel Publishing, I play an important role in enhancing the visual identity for each specific promotional material that we publish. Using my creative skills, I collaborated with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and design captivating marketing materials that effectively communicated financial data. Some of my responsiblities included; publication logo designs, formatting monthly newsletters in Adobe Indesign, resizing and altering images in photoshop, and using my skills in typography, hierarchy, and UX/UI. I was required to work in HTML/CSS and Opti Pub, an omni-channel marketing automation platform built by and for high-volume publishers. I consistently contributed to the company's success by producing visually appealing and informative promotional content that resonated with our target audience. Here are just a few of my projects for Angel Publishing.

Display Advertisements

When creating display advertisements for Angel Publishing, I aim to tailor each design to the specific content of the ad while ensuring it works seamlessly across various sizes.

For the first ad, I used a stock image of a man smiling at his computer to promote our “Bitcoin Loophole” offer. To make the design more engaging, I had the man overlap the colorful background, which not only helped him stand out but also broke up the negative space effectively.

For the second ad, I wanted an image that conveyed investment strategy, so I chose an image that subtly bled into a gradient, ensuring the text remained legible. To maintain design consistency with other elements, such as the Angel Publishing logo, I used the dark red from the logo for the “Get Started” button, creating a cohesive visual flow.

For the third ad, the focus was on a deteriorating bitcoin graphic, which I placed over a plain dark background. I matched the text colors to the tones of the bitcoin graphic to keep the design consistent. To further reinforce brand uniformity, I again used the dark red from the logo for the button text.

Podcast Thumbnails

Working for my current company Angel Publishing, I was tasked with creating a new thumbnail design for our podcast videos on Youtube. I focused on bold, high-contrast colors and clear, legible fonts that stand out even at small sizes. Using engaging imagery that hints at the episode's topic—whether it’s a close-up of our speakers, an expressive facial reaction, or a visual cue related to the subject matter. Using elements such as graphics can further intrigue viewers, while keeping the overall design clean and uncluttered helps maintain a professional look.

Postmaster Plus
Logo Design

For the Postmaster Plus logo, the goal was to create a modern, professional design that conveyed both the brand's messaging and its association with reliable, actionable data. The initial requirements were clear:

  • The logo should feature the company name "Postmaster Plus," but for simplicity and impact, I decided on "Postmaster +" as the central focus.

  • The "+" symbol needed to resemble a medical health "+" to evoke trust and precision, while also being integrated into an envelope or message icon to tie it back to the platform’s core functionality.

  • "Postmaster" was to be set in straightforward, legible lettering, with flexibility to test different fonts.

  • For color, the envelope was envisioned in a neutral whitish tone, with the "+" in a vibrant red to stand out, and the text either in red or black.

During the design process, I experimented with several typefaces to strike the right balance between professional and approachable. We initially leaned towards a red color scheme, but after realizing it closely resembled the American Red Cross branding, we pivoted to the green from Optipub’s color palette. This adjustment not only differentiated the logo but also aligned it more closely with Optipub's established visual identity.

The final design features a clean, balanced composition with a modern look—combining trust, clarity, and a subtle nod to the platform's mission of delivering precise, reliable data.

OptiPub Website
Elements

Collaborating with Optipub, I contributed to the design of key website elements, including custom graphics and a logo, for their MBP Reputation Data platform, Postmaster Plus.

Promotional Material

As the graphic designer for Angel Publishing, my role involves creating visually compelling graphics that align with the company’s established design style while effectively conveying the essence of each promotional campaign. I design backgrounds, GIFs, images, and charts that not only reflect the key themes of the content but also grab the viewer’s attention with eye-catching, legible designs. A key part of my process is ensuring all graphics, charts, and backgrounds are seamlessly integrated to create a uniform, cohesive look across both the promotional material and the ordering page. Additionally, I format bonus reports in InDesign to maintain consistency and ensure the highest-quality presentation.

I use Photoshop and Illustrator to produce polished, professional work, ensuring that every visual element—whether it's a dynamic GIF, an informative chart, or a striking image—supports the messaging, engages potential customers, and helps drive subscriptions in a visually appealing way.

Disclaimer: Due to confidentiality agreements and company policies, I am unable to showcase the full promotional materials in my portfolio. However, I’ve included a representative example of the type of work I produce to give you a sense of my design approach and capabilities.
